Very long editor/scene load times

I hate to give such a generic explanation, but simply put, the editor takes a noticeably long time to load. It takes around 10 seconds to load the project manager, around 18 to load the editor, and then another 8-10 seconds to load even an incredibly basic scene with only a “Hello, World!” label. Scene load times are consistent.

This is all running off a Samsung 840 EVO SSD, which I’ve already clocked as performing quite well. In the interest of completeness, here are the rest of my specs:

List of specs

Notably the same problem does occur on my media drive, which is a standard drive that runs at 5400 RPM. In fact, the load times are nearly identical, leading me to believe this is not a problem related to my hard drive(s). However, I’m not entirely sure what the issue is, otherwise. I’m not sure where to begin troubleshooting this issue.

Do you see any errors in the console? Are you connected to the internet when loading? (shouldn’t matter at all but on my PC it has an noticeable effect for some reason)
Also, is Godot using the right graphics card when you run it? (I see you have multiple ones)

Check the console, it may give more information.

Also try running it in self contained mode, maybe a configuration is broken.
