How to move RigidBody2D Node set on character mode without it being stuck

I’m making a 2d platformer and I have a RigidBody2D node set on character mode that when pushed, will just get stuck but is still able to be pushed though for only a little bit. The rigid body can get stuck straight away or smoothly slide across the floor for a couple seconds before stopping. I’m using a tile set and am pretty sure the rigid body could be getting caught on the tiles but I don’t know how to fix it.
