I would like to create a layer of clouds around the planetary sphere. There are a few example project on the topic even in Godot like SISilicon's or more general examples like clayjohn's or this tutorial, but the first one is far from realistic and the other two use shaders that are (to my knowledge) incompatible with godot shader language.

Could anyone point me out how to create simple but realistic enough volumetric clouds and shape them around the sphere to mimic planetary clouds?

Thanks
