How do I edit my buttons?

I now have the default rectangular shaped button with the grey background. All I can edit is the wordings(font/color) of the button but not the button itself.

I want to make my button have circular edges and change the color of the grey background. How do I do that?

You must apply a theme to the button in order to change its colors. https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/tutorials/gui/gui_skinning.html
