I use OS.window_fullscreen = true/false to change between fullscreen mode and windowed mode.
I don't know why it wasn't happening earlier (I didn't change anything).
I can switch from windowed to fullscreen with no problem, but when I switch back it:
1. Makes the game windowed (which is good)
2. Makes a fullscreen copy of the game (not good!)
The copy stays for as long as the windowed game is even a little bit on the main monitor (I have two)
I should also say that the windowed game does not update (it stays on a single frame) and the fullscreen one does.
The copy cant accept input, and the window can.

EDIT
found a solution: in the project settings, in category display, click on window and then disable "always on top"
if someone could explain why it made this bug that would be epic
